Description

If you are already a certified diver, then you can join our special diving trip to explore the best dive sites in DAHAB.

Diving in Dahab is a unique blend of world-class scuba diving and Bedouin culture. For many experienced divers, Dahab is the favorite diving spot. There are two great dive spots that everyone talks about: the Canyon and the Blue Hole.

After around an hour of driving by bus from Sharm El Sheikh to Dahab, we’ll start our first dive at the Blue Hole.

The Blue Hole is the most famous dive site in Dahab.  The entry point “Bells” is a small crack in the reef table that continues under water like a chimney down to 28 m and can be exited at any depth. There are corals to the left and right and nothing but blue in front of you. You will turn to the right as soon as you reach your maximum depth and then dive along a fantastic wall with loads of coral overhangs surrounded by the full variety of Red Sea fish. It is worth looking into the blue sometimes as there is a possibility to see some bigger fish. Also do not miss to turn around and look up to the surface and enjoy seeing rays of light playing with the shape of the wall. The dive will take you gradually shallower until you reach the beautiful coral saddle into the Blue Hole at about 7 m. There you can do your safety stop and either swims through the blue or stay with the wall to the right- or left-hand-shoulder until you reach your exit point. This is a dive site only suitable for Advanced Open Water Divers.

Our second dive will be in The Canyon.

The Canyon is Dahab’s second most popular dive site, after the Blue Hole. It is a relatively accessible dive site, typically conducted from the shore, and suitable for divers of various levels. The itinerary starts in a colorful shallow garden populated with many unique and elusive creatures, such as seahorses and ghost pipefish. The dive site’s main attraction is the Canyon itself and the Fish Tank, a gorgeous geological formation accessible even to the divers without specific cave-diving training. Dahab’s Canyon offers stunning plays of light and shapes, distinctive fauna, and a varied diving environment suitable to most divers.

Lunch of your choice (chicken/fish/mix grill) in the Bedouin Café and some free time for souvenir shopping will finalize the trip.
